What Repairs Can You Do ?

We service and repair a wide range of dental handpieces and scaler equipment. Our service includes a routine service and maintenance process for handpieces and scalers as well as specific repairs to damaged or broken equipment from all the major manufacturers.


We can also supply spare parts such as bulbs for a range of manufacturers. More information on the bulbs (Xenon and LED) is available here.

Turnaround Time on Repairs
We will confirm the turnaround time for each repair during the quotation process. We normally repair all handpieces on a same day basis.

How Do I Get My Equipment to You ?

We want to make this process as easy as possible. You can download our repair form and Freepost address label from here and use you own packaging. If you would like us to send you a free shipping box use our contact form or call us.

When we send your repaired handpiece back we will include a shipping box for your next repair. There is more information on our repair process below.



We have a straightforward repair process with an emphasis on a fast turnaround , the highest quality parts at the most competitive price. So how do you get your handpiece repaired by Medident ?


Pack and Label


Place your handpiece in a padded envelope or a Medident Repair Box. Our Repair Box includes free postage but if you don’t have one you can download the Medident Freepost Label and simply affix it to the padded envelope.


Fill Out a Repair Form


When you send in your handpiece for repair you will need to include a Medident Repair Form. This will include your details and your specific service and repair instructions. The Medident Repair Form is available for download in PDF format.


Ship It To Medident


Pack your handpiece and repair form, add the Medident Freepost label if you need to and send to Medident. Once we receive your handpiece shipment at Medident we will review your instructions, confirm the repair price and begin work.


Expect A Prompt Return


As soon as we’ve finished the repair your handpiece will be sent back using a Medident Repair Box. This includes a new Freepost label so next time you need a handpiece repair it will be as simple as popping it back in the box and sticking the Freepost label on.
